Discover new ways to be successful
Beth has a remarkable ability to secure the confidence and trust of all with whom she works. Her training and coaching represented a critical component of our full professional development suite, helping many of our employees discover new ways to be successful in their professional and personal lives.
Creative, thoughtful, intelligent and interested
Beth Benatti Kennedy is a very skillful guide and coach who is creative, thoughtful, intelligent and interested in one priority when working with clients: helping them sustain and maintain excellence. Not excellence as shown on some poster, but meaningful personal excellence based on understanding and establishing professional and individual incentives, goals, and boundaries. Her methods will make you work, using practical exercises and self-reflection to develop a plan. This plan is combined with support and advocacy to allow you to execute with confidence. I’ve personally engaged Beth’s services to recast my branding and to consider career options with great results. I’ve also referred a number of colleagues who have taken advantage of Beth’s expertise in a variety of meaningful ways.
A transforming experience
Beth and I worked together for two years. This period made a huge impact to both my professional career and personal development and was a transforming experience. I was faced with transitioning from an individual contributor job to a manager, building a new group from scratch, training people on new skills, and growing the group from three to 13 people. I have successfully accomplished these tasks and delivered on goals. Beth was indispensable in helping to get this done. We did a Myers-Briggs assessment, which is one of Beth’s areas of strong expertise. It was a great tool for me to raise my self- awareness and understand how to work well with people with different personalities and, most importantly, get aligned and get the work done. Beth also helped me to grow as a leader and understand the purpose of my leadership. I feel that I became a more effective manager and learned how to listen to people, delegate, and build a friendly productive work environment. I also believe I became a better person. Working with Beth was critical to my career success and growth at Millennium.
Beth kept it lively and fun!
Beth conducted the MBTI Team Type training for my team of (5) Project Managers and (2) Associate Directors of Events, Meetings, and Conventions.
We had a blast learning about each others traits and how that directly impacts how we work well together or, in some cases, why we don’t. Beth kept it lively and fun! Her recommendations for interacting with various “types” have been useful tools for the team. The team enjoyed it so much that we are having a follow up session in September.
She practices what she preaches
When Beth Kennedy speaks, her audience listens. I recently heard Beth speak at the 2016 Career Thought Leader Conference in Denver, Colorado. Her voice is strong and her energy is high. She practices what she preaches, engaging in the same mindfulness and recharging exercises she teaches in her sessions. Beth possesses strong presence, uses speaking space well, and has great eye contact. As a public speaking coach, I am constantly encouraging my clients to improve in these areas. When you bring Beth in to speak at your next event, you won’t be disappointed.
My confidence increased
Working with Beth benefited me in many ways and was a huge positive influence in my professional and personal development. Through her extensive knowledge base and variety of tools, she personalized her approach to enhance my leadership and collaborative skills. Through working with Beth, my confidence increased to a point that colleagues noticed and commented on the improvements, even if they couldn’t quite put their finger on the exact changes. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a coach, and I hope I get the opportunity to work with her again in the future.
Beth engaged people, stretched their thinking
Beth was our featured guest on The Academies’ Thought Leader Forum, discussing one of her areas of expertise: Resiliency. Her model, the Benatti Resiliency Model, is terrific–practical, simple yet profound, insightful, actionable.
Beth’s executive presence as a speaker was spot on–she connected beautifully with my audience of executive and career coaches, engaged people, stretched their thinking, challenged them to action, and covered just the right amount of content at a pace that was intriguing and interesting. Bravo!
Helped me to learn how to balance my life
I don’t think words can truly explain the positive impact Beth Kennedy’s leadership coaching has had on my life. Before starting this journey, I was a new mom who had just gone into a new leadership position. I was trying to juggle everything at once. Her coaching has not only helped me to learn how to balance my life so I can be a successful wife, a mother, a career woman, and a future entrepreneur but also to be a confident, caring leader.
Made me become a more strategic leader
I had an opportunity to work with Beth Kennedy for leadership coaching at Millennium/Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Coaching has made me become a more strategic leader. I now delegate more and have a more thorough understanding of my leadership style and how to manage more effectively. An added bonus which is one of Beth’s unique assets as a leadership coach is my resiliency and work life balance have also improved.
An expert in crafting career objectives
I greatly enjoyed and benefited from my time working with Beth. She is an expert in crafting career objectives and honing leadership skills. She utilizes a wealth of knowledge, tools and experience while always focusing on you as an individual. I especially appreciate Beth’s emphasis on linking a healthy personal life to a successful career.
